Collier High School is seeking a Social Skills Instructor.
We are seeking a passionate and engaging Social Skills Instructor to work with middle school students, fostering their social, emotional, and interpersonal development.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, empathy, ability to connect with our students and create a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
* Curriculum development utilizing an evidence-based behavior analytic approach to teaching social skills
* Conduct interactive and engaging social skills lessons and activities focused on teaching communication, building and maintaining friendships, and conflict resolution
* Use data to assess the program/curriculum regularly
* Support the importance of Social Emotional Learning
* Organize professional development workshops for staff
* Provide ongoing strategies for staff to implement and support social and emotional development
*Qualifications:*
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students develop essential social skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual needs
* BcaBa or RBT certification preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.
