Dog Obedience Instructor

*Dog Obedience Instructor* Seeking an experienced dog trainer to teach basic and advanced Dog Obedience classes.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience training in positive reinforcement and operational training techniques, and experience working with a variety of dog breeds.
Must interact positively and patiently with dogs and their owners.
Duties and Responsibilities: * Greet pet owners when they arrive and discuss problems they may be having with their dogs and their expectations for training.
* Develop curriculum and study different techniques for enhancing pet conduct.
* Utilize positive reinforcement methods to teach dogs how to break negative habits and learn positive behaviors.
* Teach dogs how to respond to basic and more advanced commands.
Requirements and Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * At least one year of dog training or pet handling experience.
* Dog training certification.
* Familiarity with common behaviors of different kinds of dog breeds Hours: Varies Pay: Negotiable dependent on experience Location: Big Brook Park, Marlboro Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $20.
